Auch in Kolumbien tut sich etwas. Claudio Corti ist aktuell dabei das Team Colombia-Coldeportes 2012 zusammenzustellen. Das ganze wird enorm groß aufgezogen. Das Hauptteam soll 18 Fahrer umfassen und wird in Italien "stationiert". Dazu kommt ein Continetalteam für Kolumbien/Amerika, so wie zwei nationale/regionale Farmteams.
Bereits bestätigte Fahrer sind Juan Pablo Suarez, Rafael Infantino y Edward Beltrán (EPM-UNE), Víctor Hugo Peña, Luis Felipe Laverde, Jarlinson Pantano, Juan Pablo Forero, Robinson Chalapud, Dalivier Ospina (Colombia Es pasión 4-72),Wilson Marentes (Formesan Panachi Indersantander), Edwin Parra (Boyacá Orgullo de América), Carlos Julián Quintero, Frank Osorio (GW Shimano).
Außerdem führt man Gespräche mit Janier Acevedo (Gobernación Indeportes de Antioquia) und den beiden Avenir-Siegern Nairo Quintana und Esteban Chávez (Colombia es Pasion 4-72).

Für das CT Team sind sie auch an vielen großen Leute dran. Baez und Montaña, Jaime Castañeda, Mauricio Casas und Javier Gonzalez.
Budget soll bei 5 Mio. Dollar liegen. Beteiligt sind Staat, aber auch verschiedene Firmen.
PCT und CT sollen 18 Fahrer stark sein. Das PCT wird in Brescia stationiert, dort wird bereits alles bereit gemacht. Corti und Oliveira Rincon leiten das ganze.
