Die Etappe führt an der Sacra di San Michele vorbei. Die Abtei inspirierte Umberto Eco zu "Der Name der Rose". Die Etappe endet dann auf der Corso Francia. Die Straße ist fast 12 Kilometer lang.

Dieses in Verfolgungsgruppen mit durch die Führung gehen und ganz vorne die Beine hochnehmen, weil man vorne einen drin hat, mag ja ein taktisches Mittel sein, aber mich nervt es nur noch beim Schauen.
