Officieel mag hij dan gestopt zijn, toch zou dopingzondaar Alexandre Vinokourov volgens informatie van de Internationale Wielerunie (UCI) opnieuw aan het trainen zijn. De 34-jarige Kazach is nog tot 21 juli geschorst nadat hij tijdens de Tour van vorig jaar betrapt werd op bloeddoping. "We zijn officieus op de hoogte gebracht van het feit dat Vinokourov opnieuw traint", zegt Philippe Verbiest, juridisch raadgever van de UCI.
