Das ist ne Menge an Verletzungen auf einmal, Hauptsache da geht nichts schief bei den wohl sicherlich anstehenden OP´s
cyclingnews dazu heut morgen :

Brioches la Boulangère rider Mickael Pichon has suffered serious head and facial injuries after falling about 20 into a ravine during stage 3 of the Dauphiné Libéré. The crash happened on the descent of the Col de Mezilhac, approximately 150 km into the stage which started in St. Etienne.
Cofidis rider David Millar spotted Pichon in the ravine and asked for a helicopter to be sent to rescue the fallen rider. Race doctor Gerard Porte told Reuters that Pichon was unconscious when he was found.
"He gradually returned to his senses. He was taken to hospital by helicopter and was fully conscious when he got there," Porte said. He added that Pichon had also suffered multiple fractures to the legs, collarbone and ribs.
Latest reports on Pichon's condition are that he is stable in hospital in Grenoble. |

Brioches la Boulangère rider Mickael Pichon fell off a vertical drop on the descent of the Col de Mezilhac and David was the only one who realised what had happened, "We were riding on the descent in a single line and there were vertical drops so it was pretty hairy. I noticed a rider in front getting pushed to the edge and another rider had to slam on his brakes causing Pichon to swerve and hit the small wall at the side of the road. His forks just snapped and he went flying over the handlebars.
Everyone kept going but I stopped and hoped that it wasn't a vertical drop. Unfortunately the guy was lying in a foetal position nconscious about 20m below, I immediately stopped the nearest car and got them to radio the head commissaire and call for a helicopter. They said they would get the ambulance but I realised he was going to be fucked up and needed a helicopter there fast. I heard he had some really bad injuries but from the height he fell he is lucky to be alive."
Pichon's injuries are horrific but latest reports on his condition are that he is stable in hospital in Grenoble. |

Brioches La Boulangère rider Mickael Pichon is said to be "serious" condition by medical staff treating him in a Grenoble hospital after he crashed into a ravine on a descent during Wednesday’s third stage of the Dauphiné Libéré.
According to a statement released by the hospital, Pichon has been "resuscitated after having undergone several surgical interventions". The 30-year-old Frenchman suffered severe head injuries in the crash, including a blood clot in his brain, which still needs further examination.
