Ich hatte es befürchtet.... mit dem Kopf an die Wand

(siehe mein Posting von gestern).

so sehr ich auch das Team mag, wenn die Auflagen nicht erfüllt werden ist das die richtige Entscheidung. Es tut mir sehr leid um so klasse Fahrer wie Kolobnev und Scarponi, für Cipo ist es fast egal (zumindest nach seinen für 2004 bekannten Plänen), aber auf dessen Reaktion bin ich schon gespannt... dve wird sich wohl wenigstens für Gs2 bewerben (und hoffentlich auch qualifizieren) aber für Kelme ist das der Untergang, wenn man den Aussagen glauben darf. Casero scheint ja ne ziemlich Bindung zu finanziell angeschlagenen Teams zu haben...

Naja für Palmans und Relax freuts mich...haben beide einen GS1-würdigen Kader

On the basis of the complement of information given to the UCI since the 22 nd of December 2003 , and following the advice given by Ernst&Young, the PCC could not accept the registration of Domina-Vacanze (ITA) and Kelme (ESP) as TTI for 2004.
If these TT's fill the conditions as required by the UCI rules and regulations by January 15th 2004 , they will be registered as TTII.
In accordance with the UCI Regulations, in order to reach the total number of 30 TT/I, the teams Palmans-Collstrop (BEL) and Relax-Bodysol (ESP), are registered as TT/I for the 2004 season.

Bei Kelme bin ich zwar traurig, kann es aber verstehen.

DVE muss sehr nachlässig gewesen sein. Dass ich die mit dem Bauch getippt habe, hatte keinen näheren Grund. Umso mehr überrascht es mich, dass sie nun dabei sind.

Dann beendet Cipo diese Saison auch seine Straßenkarriere...

Die waren sehr nachlässig, aber ich hatte es befürchtet, da bei dem Team die Mentalität zu herrschen scheint (schien): wir haben Cipollini, also kann uns nicht passieren... Pustekuchen!

Diese Saison wird Cipollini sicher noch fahren (zumindest bis zum Giro), was nach 2004 kommt steht jetzt mehr in den Sternen denn je. Eigentlich war nach seiner Karriere eine PR-Tätigkeit für DV geplant, die könnte jetzt eher fällig werden...

auch wenn DVE die Lizenz bekommen hätte, wäre es mit dem Kader schwer gewesen sich für die Profiliga zu qualifizieren. Das Team hat das Glück italienisch zu sein, da es in Italien genug gute Rennen gibt, bei denen sie eingeladen werden, im Auslands sieht's anders aus. Nur die Teilnahme an den Weltcuprennen und Klassikern im Ausland können sie sich abschmicken.

Jetzt steht die Frage im Raum: Gelten die Verträge auch für die GS2? Werden einige (gute) Fahrer noch wechseln (falls möglich)?

I don't know about DVE, but one of the articles I have "gegoogled" here says -- I think -- that Valverde will be free to find a new team.
