DVE ist für die Tour Down Under gemeldet und das Team soll bereits am Sonntag in Australien eintreffen. Dürften die überhaupt starten?

und wenn der rennstall nicht weitermacht muss man eh nicht weiter düber nachdenken!

DVE macht weiter (so wurde es zumindest gestern abend vermeldet)! Und sie dürfen auch als GS2 bei vielen ausländischen Rennen starten; Problem bei der TDU ist nur, dass bis dahin die GS2-Lizenzen noch nicht vergeben sind.

Kelme will wohl tatsächlich als GS II Team weitermachen. Allerdings scheint es fraglich, ob das Team dann in der Form zusammen bleibt, da man damit rechnet, dass Sponsoren abspringen. Zumindest wird Valverde verdächtigt, die Truppe zu verlassen. Bei Casero bin ich mal gespannt, ob der dennoch bei Kelme mitmachen würde....

GS-II sehe ich als sinnvolle Alternative an. Wenn Valverde geht, ist der Kader deutlich billiger und zu den spanischen Rennen inkl. Vuelta werden sie trotzdem eingeladen.

Jeder scheint sich sicher zu sein, dass Kelme die Lizenz bekommt.... allerdings fühle ich mich irgendwie an Index Alexia erinnert.... Hat Kelme denn genug Finanzkraft um als GS2 anerkannt zu werden? Oder wird es ihnen wie Index Alexia ergehen? Erst keine GS1 und dann auch keine GS2-Lizenz... ich will es ja nicht hoffen, aber etwas flau ist mir schon bei dem Gedanken...

fühlt sich - mal wieder - ungerecht behandelt (Quelle: CN):

Wenn es alles so in Ordnung gewesen wäre, hätten sie die Lizenz bekommen, basta! Also entweder redet sich Santoni die Realität schön oder es wurde beim Einreichen der Unterlagen geschludert. Wie dem auch sei, die Entscheidung steht, das hätte DVE sich eher überlegen müssen....

@Tourmalet: ich habe nun mal meine Prinzipien und nach denen erwarte ich von alle Teams - auch von meinen Lieblingsteams - dass sie die Bedingungen der UCI erfüllen. Wieso sollte ich da ne Ausnahme machen und mein Lieblingsteam davon ausnehmen? Das wäre unglaubwürdig. Ich kann nicht auf der einen Seite das Einhalten von Regeln einfordern und auf der anderen Seite sagen: das gilt aber für DVE nicht... Und ehrlich gesagt, ich war darauf vorbereitet, da ich schon einige Infos aus Italien diesbezüglich hatte, die mich nicht positiv stimmten. Aber um ehrlich zu sein, die Nichteinladung zur TdF 2003 und 2002 hat mich mehr aufgeregt, als jetzt die Lizenzverweigerung. Bei der TdF habe ich es als Wiilkür empfunden, bei der UCI ging es um eindeutige Regeln!

Gehört es jetzt hier rein oder nicht? Manolo Saiz würde gerne den Valverde verpflichten.

Vittorio Adorni, the president of the UCI’s Council of Professional Cycling, has told Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport that Kelme and Domina Vacanze had their requests to join the first division turned down because their paperwork was incomplete.

The recent restructuring of the Kelme group means that the Kelme cycling team is no longer linked to the Kelme shoe company, potentially enabling the latter, with its new owners, to take over the slot until now occupied by the former, which remains under the ownership of the shoe company’s former owners.

The Generalitat wants to become position of the equipment so that not desa parezca, whenever Quiles is broken contact, but the problem is that the millionaire debts that is accumulated this one (to cyclists, suppliers, Property, Social Segu ridad...) are too high to be able to be absorbed by the autonomic organism. The Generalitat is in contact with the enemy with the UCI, where they have said to them that no longer there are terms to make a new equipment and they only have two solutions: to remain with the Kelme, so and as is, with which they would have to assume the debts, or, that Quiles yields the rights to them, of which position of the equipment and all its structure would take control, but not of the debts, since the Bianchi with the Coast did. This last point is the one that is negotiating. And it will be followed today. To all this, the great danger is that tomorrow the term of inscription for the equipment of Second Division finishes and if the Kelme does not fulfill the requirements would be sent to Third, which would mean the death of the equipment. The Generalitat is convinced that on time it could arrive if Quiles apechuga with his resposabilidades. The solution happens to sell to Valverde, among other things. But it is difficult that somebody now pays the 2.5 million euros of the rescission clause. And even so, it can be insufficient
